How to Secure your Blackberry from Being Stolen

Just got a new BlackBerry phone? Yeah that's good, but just before you start downloading apps, music, videos etc, there are some more important app to install. In-fact you should make them priority.
First, to make sure your phone is secured, you must install the BlackBerry protect app.
Now I am not a BlackBerry fan but I believe that some how the latest BlackBerry phones might have this software already installed. To be on a safer side make sure you download and install the BlackBerry  protect from the app world. The link for the app

What does the app do?
If you have BlackBerry Protect installed and active in you phone and eventually the phone got missing, all you need to do is log onto BlackBerry protect website using a desktop or another phone. You will see many features from "locate on map" which can be use to locate where your phone is  at the moment, to "history" where you can be able to view sim card numbers that had previously been used by the phone.
Also the “loud ring” feature can help you locate a BlackBerry smartphone lost in the couch cushions by sounding your ringer at full volume, even if the phone is set to vibrate or silent.

They are other apps that can help secure you BlackBerry phone such as Anti Theft Security for BlackBerry , the lookout App. and many others.

It is best to protect your BlackBerry when you can, than looking for ways to find it with no security app installed in it.
